Warba Wangarunya Rugby League Carnival

Warba Wangarunya Rugby League Carnival (WWRLC) is a culturally inclusive event which brings our communities together from across Central Queensland. Warba Wangarunya has been given the Darumbal Language name of “One Together” which encompasses the main purpose of the event, social cohesion.

WWRLC Vision is One Community, One People, One Game. This is achieved by bringing teams, Indigenous and Non-Indigenous together from across the region.

Through the game of rugby league, we create community collaboration and partnerships to improve social outcomes for the Rockhampton Community. Not only is it just a game of football, it also allows Community members, especially young people to give back to the region through volunteering opportunities.
